Happy Belated Birthday Herman Wouk

A little late, but if you reach 100 that still calls for a celebration!



The 1952 Pulitzer Prize Award winning author is best known for the novel The Caine Mutiny.

His book Don't Stop the Carnival written in 1965 was turned into a short lived musical by Jimmy Buffett. Here Jimmy plays tribute to Wouk at the Library of Congress...



Fittingly I spent his birthday on a pier on the water  somewhere sunny!
